The Commission has three statutory committees which are responsible for ensuring that the overall work of the Commission reflects the needs and priorities of Scotland and Wales and the interests of disabled people, as well as developing their own specific work programmes and taking a lead role in working with our stakeholders. Each committee is chaired by one of our commissioners and supported by a lead officer.
Dr Neil Wooding: is the Commissioner for Wales. Neil chairs our Wales Committee, supported by the National Director for Wales.
Barry Clarke: Barry is a lawyer experienced in discrimination and equalities law.
Rhian Davies: Rhian is Chief Executive of Disability Wales.
Reverend Aled Edwards: Aled is Chief Executive of CYTUN (Churches Together in Wales).
Clifton Robinson: Clifton is Chair of the North Wales Probation Board and an Inspector with the Health Inspectorate Wales.
Dr Olwen Williams: Olwen is a medical consultant working in the field of sexual health.
Liz Withers: Liz is a Policy Officer at the National Autistic Society.
