The commission is committed to developing best practice in engaging with communities in all its work. EHRC Scotland is commissioning a number of short research reviews on a range of topics. These include a research review to identify and highlight examples of good community engagement practice.
Key outcomes for this research is to identify across all sectors public, private and voluntary, best practice in community engagement. This research will look at barriers in conducting community engagement, examples of best practice in community engagement and recommend to the Commission best approach to successful community engagement.
