Statement: Aberdeen City Council
17 November 2008
The Legal Committee of the Equality and Human Rights Commission had been asked to consider whether or not to take enforcement action against Aberdeen City Council, using its powers under the Equality Act 2006, in relation to compliance by the Council with the public sector equality duties. The Commission has decided not to take enforcement action against the Council at this time.
