'Religion or belief' and equality and human rights

November 2008 - February 2009

The British Humanist Association has launched a series of free conferences on 'religion or belief' in equality and human rights work. Keynote speakers at four cities across the UK include Evan Harris MP, Angela Mason OBE, Prof A C Grayling, and Dr Brian Gibbons AM.  The Commission is funding these conferences.

Include Me Too annual conference 2008

Thursday 4 December, Wolverhampton

The third annual conference recognising the rights and entitlements of disabled children, young people and adults. The conference is a celebration of International Disabled People's Day in partnership with Race for Health and is sponsored the Commission.

Ours by Right: A Day For The Human Family

7 December 1-5pm

Set to coincide with the British Library's 'Taking Liberties' exhibition, Ours by Right is a free event open to the general public which will feature performances, workshops and family and cinema areas - all in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The event will take place at the British Library, Euston Road, London. If you would like to attend please email 60UDHR@equalityhumanrights.com.
