This section is for those who give advice and information to others.

The former equality commissions, the Disability Rights Commission, the Commission for Racial Equality and the Equal Opportunities Commission, produced resources that advisers have found very useful, and which we have recreated in this site.

This section includes key equality and human rights legislation and the Codes of Practice published by the former equality commissions.

You may also find our new step-by-step guides for individuals useful. These follow a similar approach to the DRC's Using your rights guide. They explain the processes for taking claims to employment tribunals, county courts or sheriff courts. There is also a guide to using human rights.
